Emily was born December 16, 1981 in Amsterdam, New York, a little town outside of Albany. Her family moved to Puyallup, Washington when she was eight years old.
Emily has two sisters--Kelly and Eve--and three brothers--Jonathan, Stephen, and Daniel. Eve is currently on a mission in Nagoya, Japan. She took David and Emily's engagement photos before she left, for which David and Emily are very grateful! Emily's dad owns a construction aggregates business. Her mom loves to write plays and is working on her second novel.
She loves the violin, and has been playing for fifteen years (though her practicing is sporadic as of late). Her undergraduate degree is from BYU-Idaho in music.
Emily is currently an MBA student majoring in marketing at Brigham Young University. She only has one year left!
